@ Inverness

It was such a long journey. The bus left Manchester downtown at 12: 40 and directly headed north. We stopped by Preston for 10 minutes. Entering Preston was really depressing because I heard the city when I was 12. There was a song which described people’s lives in Preston . The first impression was dirty and trashes everywhere and shattered houses everywhere, and I also saw lots of “To Let” boards. The economy showed over here is not in good condition. My dream of Preston was demolished. Second stop was Glasgow and it was great. Clean and tidy and the sky above it was really blue. I saw lots of historic buildings in the city but it was a shame because passengers only had 25 minutes to take break and buy some food here. The food at bus station is really expensive. A bottle of water which I bought in Manchester Rail cost me 0.49 p, in Glasgow cost me 1.2 p. Therefore, I bought me a small of semi-skim milk for dinner. The third stop was in Perth and I was told to take another bus heading Inverness . When I was arrived Inverness, it was around 9 pm.

I have booked a B&B before I came to UK . When I saw the room I am going to stay for 4 nights, I have to admit I am really disappointed. The room is really small and the bathroom is out of the room. Besides the size, the cleanness is really okay but the host also has some regulations like I must leave ……… and come back after 4 o’clock.
