@ Inverness之尼斯湖

Bus ticket shocked me when I heard the price. Round trip cost me 10.4 pound and the total distance only around 35 miles. With the so expensive price, I still need bus because I could not use my railway card to take train there. There was one thing which could comfort my drying wallet is the scenery was really great. You could see the sunshine glittering on the lake and the lake look just like a mirror which reflect everything from the top of mountain.

There was a ruined castle which located on the river side. Entering the castle cost me 6.5 pound and this one was much better than last one I went in Peak District. It was a castle which lived many people before and I saw many jobs poster in many places. The poster informed what kind of job there was used to do long ago. Even after hundred of years, some of jobs are remained the same, like bakers or alewives. Because of ticket cost me 6.5 pound, and I started to think about whether I should apply one year membership card because I am in student status. One hour later, I decided to apply castle card in Scotland, and it means castles in Scotland wherever I go for free but in England, Wales you need to pay half price. I bought it because there are two castles that I really want to go, one in Edinburgh and the other is in String. Both of them are in Scotland. With the card, I could go to my favorite castles whenever I like.

Besides the Loch Ness along the castle, there was a small village only 2 miles away from the castle. My B&B suggest I might spend some time there. I walked 30 minutes from castle to the small village and I found the village is really boring and nothing to enjoy. However, the bus is not really busy so I have to wait until 4 pm to catch the bus back to Inverness. On the way back, I am wondering I could buy 1 pound chicken from TESCO or I couldn’t. Actually, there wasn’t any 1 pound chicken left there. I bought 0.85 p sausage and one yogurt for myself. When I headed back to B&B, I met a Japanese girl whom I met in castle this morning. After a short talk, both of us decided to buy some food and ate at her youth hostel. She could help me to microwave the pasta. In the lounge of the hostel, we have 2 hours talk about the journey in UK. During the talk, there were 20 people came in the hostel and stuck in the lounge. I noticed some of them are from Taiwan and some are China. With the accent, I could easily identify which country they are from. Even I knew I met some mates from same country, I didn’t start my talk with them immediately, because I found I still couldn’t stand Chinese. While Japanese girl went back to her room, we Taiwanese start to talk in Chinese, and those Chinese people also joined the talk. Kind of funny, I found talking with Chinese need to be really tough because the Chinese tried show they really know something. Luckily, I am not that kind of weak woman, being a lion girl. I know I am really tough to stand up myself instead to show my weakness.

I will head for Island Skye for one day. I am really excited about it because I have heard it for many years and finally it’s like dream come true to visit there and excited to see the highland cow. The Japanese girl wanted to go with me but she couldn’t because it’s too late. Instead of she will go to another castle. We made a date for tomorrow and share we will see for tomorrow.
